Rank Examination – January 31st at UTD

There will be a rank examination at UTD on Saturday, January 31st.   Class begins at 11:00 with the exam to follow.


You will need to register at the link below to gain access to the building at no charge.  If you do not register, UTD will charge you a $5 entry fee.


AAKF – WTKDF International Camp – Washington DC June 23rd – 25th

The 2015 AAKF – WTKDF International Camp will be held in Washington DC just before the 2015 AAKF National Tournament.

53rd Annual AAKF Nationals

The 53rd Annual AAKF Adult National Competition will be held in Richardson on June 27th & 28th at the Richardson Heights Recreation Center.

The 3rd Annual AAKF Junior National Competition and 1st Annual Adult Kyu Competition will be held on Saturday June 28th.

Regional -Time \ Score Keepers Training – April 13th

Judges Training – March 22nd in Saginaw

This is the 3rd session on judges training.

The focus of this session will be Junior Competition, exploring the different classes (A,B,C,D & Elite) and what the judges and athletes should understand.

This class is open to all students regardless of age or rank.  Please ensure you know at least one kata and are familiar with the basic concepts of 1-step or 3-step kumite as these are required for the various classes of Junior competition. For students in the Elite category, we will cover the kogo kumite rules as well.

If any parents are interested in helping with score keeping at the Junior National Competition hosted in Richardson on June 28th, please come observe the training and talk with Tuan Huynh or John Bell.

Class will begin at 11:00 on the 22nd and end between 1:00 – 2:00

There will be a training session for students wanting to learn more about AAKF rules and judging on Saturday, March 8th at UTD.  Class will begin at 11:00.

If you are interested in becoming a class D judge or want to improve your skills, please attend this session.
